Geography.

Adeje is located on the southwest area of the isle of Tenerife, in the canyon of Erque s, with a surface area of 105,95 Km 2, an altitude of 280 m, and a population of 27 640, at a road distance 83 Km from Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

To the northeast, it borders with Guía de Isora and with La Orotava, while to the southeast, the Canyon of the King (barranco del Rey) limits with Vilaflor and Arona. A wide coastal strip, with cliffs, with the exception of small coves and beaches, makes up its south-eastern border.
